Yesterday I updated you about my shoulder situation and today I’m attempting to find a comfortable way to type. I can’t sit at my desk to write yet so I’m using the couch and pillows and we’ll see how it goes. Today is the 1st of November so that means NaNoWriMo! I have yet to do this writing challenge but as I am failing miserably at keeping my writing schedule right now I figured why not?
I will be attempting to finish two novella’s this month. One forty thousand words and one twenty thousand. I already have a jump on the first. This is not the traditional way to do NaNo but I just plan to use it to my advantage.
For those of you that don’t know about NaNo here is a link to the website. If you’ve ever thought about writing a novel now is the time! This challenge is to inspire you to write or finish a novel. Lots of people all over the world will be doing the same thing. There are write-ins where you can meet up at your local library or book store to write with other participants. There are also online groups if that works better.
Check it out, write a book, have some fun. I would love to hear about it in the comments below!

Some year I’ll get back to NaNoWriMo…but the best I ever did was 36K words. I tend to prefer quality over quantity, but the motivation is nice.
Good luck. Hopefully we’ll hear from you in a month!

I agree with the quality over quantity thing. I think just having some motivation is good. My shoulder isn’t really cooperating anyway.
