Wow. January has been crazy already. I can’t believe it’s the 9th! Being out of town for the first week of the year makes me feel like I’m running to catch up and I’m not sure if I ever will. I have accomplished a lot in the last 4 days since I’ve been home. My laundry is no longer breeding and multiplying out of my laundry room. I can actually see the floor. I have been to the gym every day since Monday and I have actually only missed two days of working out this year and one was a travel day. I have visited with my friends I haven’t seen much of since the holidays and the book launch started. Breathe is on Blog Tour, book two (still no name) is at the editor and I have started plotting book three.
I have a schedule this year and I’m sticking to it. Even if real life gets busy I know I have to protect my time to go to the gym and my time to write. It has to be a priority. Even if I am moving so slow this week because every single muscle in my body is complaining, I feel better already. Writing is such a sedentary and solitary job. I have to make myself get out every day.
How about you? What are you changing this year? I would love to hear.
